The Polaris XPEDITION was introduced for the 2024 model year and it’s still in production today, including the current 2026 XPEDITION lineup. The platform is centered around Polaris’ ProStar 1000 Gen 2 DOHC twin with 999cc displacement and factory-rated 114 HP on models like the XPEDITION ADV NorthStar. Across the lineup you’ll see two core sub-models: XPEDITION XP (adventure-ready with an open rear dumping cargo box) and XPEDITION ADV (a fully covered cab and cargo box setup for keeping passengers and gear protected), each available in 2-seat and 5-seat configurations. Early XPEDITION trims included Premium, Ultimate, and NorthStar packages (varying by year), and today’s models continue to emphasize enclosed-cab capability with features like heat and air conditioning on the XPEDITION line—making it a perfect base for overlanding-style builds with roofs, windshields, doors, lighting, storage, racks, protection, and ride upgrades.
